Austin Brass Center

March 5, 2008 - The Austin Brass Center is pleased to the 2008 Summer Brass Institute!  The institute is to be held at Hill Country Middle School in Austin, TX from June 8-14, 2008.  We are very pleased to welcome our Featured Guest Artists from the Baylor University School of Music.  They are Wiff Rudd, Jeffrey Powers, and Brent Phillips.  We are also pleased to welcome Sumner Erickson, former Principal Tuba of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.  Applications are available online,  just click on Summer Brass Institute on this web site.  We look forward to seeing and working with you this summer! 

July 19, 2007 - The Austin Brass Center in a continuing effort to promote brass education has listed the 2007-08 TMEA All-State Etudes on its web site.  The Austin Brass Center wishes the best of luck to all who audition!

June 4-9, 2007 - The Austin Brass Center is pleased to announce that the 2007 Summer Brass Institute was a rousing success!  A good time was held by all.  Keep visiting the web site for information about the 2008 Summer Brass Institute!
